using close button in file open window causes graphics bug

Build number: 2010.01.18.1
system : pmpc974
to reproduce, run lag with no arguments, file, open, click the close button not the close x in the top right of the window. go to file, open again and the file selection window will be missing the top 3/4 of the menus including the quick links the file path and the folder list.

Temporary solution: I have removed the close button, now. People will have to use the top right corner X button for now. May or may not return the close button in the future.
